I hate this thing.
“I hate this thing,” he said. Because he wasn’t allowed to feel any differently. Wasn’t allowed to admire himself. Was afraid to primp himself up, the mountains of complexes on his appearance, his doey eyes, his full lips. *points proudly* That’s my favourite character of any TV show up here *insists pointing with enthusiastic expression*
and that my friends is perfect character development
Dean’s character development just makes me smile so much. This season he’s drinking a lot less, he’s a lot happier, he’s embracing his inner nerd, he’s stopped, or is trying to stop, being Daddy’s blunt little instrument and starting to allow himself to become a real live 2 d person. And I love it so much! <3<3<3
