I think this prank is predicated on the idea that a tampon is some weird gross useless item that no one could POSSIBLY find a use for?

like, it’s the kind of prank that only a 4channer could come up with because you have to literally forget that non-cartoon vaginas exist and half of all people have them

these guys do realise that these are tampons that have not been used right? you are literally just posting minor domestic healthcare supplies to a blogging sites support staff.

Presumably everyone at Tumblr with a womb will be like, “hey, score!”

These are the kind of guys who offer each other tampons as a devastating insult. They’re trying to insult the guys at Tumblr — and they think there are *only* guys at Tumblr. Not only that, they think there are only *single* guys at Tumblr, guys who don’t know a woman intimately enough to say, “hey, someone handed me some sample tampons, I figured you might want them for your stash.”

It may be the stupidest single attempt to insult people I’ve ever seen in my life.

I do hope the Tumblr staff sends them an effusive thank you note and lets them know that they’re donating the unclaimed tampons to a women’s shelter…
