The author makes a point so important about this book and aaaaall the other textbooks I had from fuckin’ Bob Jones U. Cause you know, I was watching Bill Nye at the same time I was reading this book, I was filling in the blanks with a wee eye-roll even then, I KNEW where electricity came from…

…the indoctrination was in the language, which is much more subtle for an 8 year old, especially elsewhere in the text. I knew where electricity came from.

I was also CONVINCED that christians were persecuted in the USA and that scientist were evil (except for Bill Nye most of the time cause he was nice) people without souls.
