straight from my doctor’s mouth: if you’re in california and were born between 1964-1989 you need to go get a measles booster. at the time you only had one dose of mmr, and now you do two. before 1964 you did two. if you’re in southern california (or any area experiencing a measles outbreak due to idiots who don’t understand herd immunity) PLEASE go get an mmr booster if you can. keep yourself safe.

Edit: This is legit, btw. I did some fact-checking on the ca.gov health websites. If you were born before 1989, you need to consider an MMR booster. 

If you don’t know if you need a booster, and this is something a lot of people in this age range are dealing with, or you can’t verify your boosters, there is a blood test which can tell you if you need it.
