We did it! Well, technically, the Supreme Court did it, but we watched!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS

Screw that, WE DID IT. The Supreme Court didn’t just wake up and say “hey, let’s recognize the queer community’s humanity today.” They did it because of decades of queer activists’ blood, sweat, and tears as they painstakingly dragged society right up to the doorstep, and nudged it through. Give the five of the nine Supreme Court judges credit for not fighting that nudge. Give OUR foremothers and forefathers and foreparents, brothers and sisters and siblings of all genders, the credit for their tireless work. So let’s celebrate our victory, and use it to strengthen our resolve for the work that still needs to be done.
