I just started laughing and like crying and even WITH the Sheetrock comment I still didn’t catch that the lid was IN THE FUCKING CEILING until The Beardy Ginger pointed it out.

my guess is that this is the result of a pressure cooker incident, not anything to do with surfaces melting due to heat

Yeah, my bet would be pressure cooker explodes, the force from the explosion forces the base of the pan through the hob, and the lid of the pan through the extractor, and in to the ceiling.
