spn version of the Nighthawks by Edward Hopper
IT MAKES ME SAD BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH THE PLACMENT IS THE SAME CAS IS SITTING ALL BY HIMSELF WHICH REPRESENTS CANON WAY TO MUCH FOR MY LIKING
Hopper said his painting was inspired by “a restaurant on New York’s Greenwich Avenue where two streets meet.” He acknowledged that he subconsciously also depicted the “loneliness of a large city” but when he talked about the painting he often mentioned that it’s where two streets meet so that seems to be a conscious thought he put into the painting (x). An element of the original painting was people from different roads ending up in the same place, I think that’s a perfect representation of Team Free Will.
