Gregorian monks singing “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.”
EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND LISTEN TO THIS RIGHT FUCKING NOW
Why is this a thing that exists?
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL
“on the boooooolovarrrd of brooookennnn dreeeemmsss”
I turned this on and at that moment my roommate opened the curtains, and I immediately had this epic video in my head of us cleaning our apartment, and raising a castle around it with hammers and magic.
This must be that aesthetic thing people around here keep talking about.
This is. Wow. Surprisingly wonderful. I know that gregorian chant versions of popular songs was a big thing back in like the 70′s-80′s, but they didn’t usually have like, backing instrumentals, and were a lot slower, I think? Like. Vocal muzak versions, not really. Egh. This actually is. Good. Wow. I’d be okay with this making a comeback.
