I’m watching 1×06 Skin and one of my favorite things about this ep was that they used the song Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter. Now I think it’s Mary by the Death Riders? Why would they do that?
It’s Duel at Dawn for me by Mommy and Daddy. The opening song where the police are coming in the place?
It’s only in the first season, I think. Because Bloody Mary opens with Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down by Fall Out Boy (the actual episode part not the THEN part) on my DVD set but it doesn’t on netflix. I didn’t notice it til I got to season 2 once and the opening song was Wheel in the Sky by Journey.
See I think my thing is, I don’t know when they changed it but when I watched in the summer of 2013, that’s what the songs were I think. I only ever watched on Netflix. I have 1-4 on DVD but I think I always only watched them on Netflix.
In ONLY the first season on Netflix they also don’t have Carry On Wayward Son! It’s supposed to open 1×21 but….it doesn’t.

I guess I should crack open my box sets and see how the music in season 1 is supposed to be.
I’m hoping the blurays are the same as the DVDs because we got rid of our DVDs when we upgraded.

Maybe it’s just a season 1 thing… I mentioned in tags but with Queer as Folk, even just in the first episode of the first season they changed the music from the DVDs. I didn’t keep watching after I realized that but maybe it’s also for season 1.
I only ever watched on Netflix so I didn’t know there was another music world on this show xD
The opening song for Skin (1×06) is supposed to be In A Gadda Da Vida. Hey Man, Nice Shot is used later in the episode, but I didn’t watch Netflix’s version long enough to know they’d changed that too.
And if I remember right, they didn’t use Bad Moon Rising in the finale as the original did.
