FMA meme, ten whatever you want 2/10: Roy saving Ed from the homunculi.

UM WHAT IS THIS FROM???

I’M WRACKING MY MEMORY AND I LEGITIMATELY CANNOT THINK OF WHEN THIS WOULD BE :’D IS THIS ONE OF THE GAMES OR SOMETHING

Isnt that the single episode where everyone fights all the homunculi in 03 (and roy breaks the fourth wall lol)

I can’t remember the name of it 😦

…….I don’t think that was an episode. In fact I am 100% sure that was not a standard episode. That is a thing I would remember. Maybe it was a special or something. Because Ed is in this room for the first time in like, episode 49, when he finds rose dancing here right before he meets Dante, and by that point Lust was dead and Then the series was over and nobody comes back to this room :’D So it did not happen within any series’ continuity.

this is an 03 ova i think!

((It is! It’s “Alchemists vs Homunculi”. The idea is that the viewer is a new recruit alchemist joining the military at first, where Roy’s debriefing people about how they’re going after the homunculi to rescue Ed and Al who are already there. So it has parts of fourth wall breaking for that, and jumps between Team Mustang and the Elrics while a the story of all the alchemists fighting against the homunculi. It’s also the episode where Envy swings Greed around in a circle for any of you who have seen pictures of that. It’s in the OVA collection for the 2003 anime and fairly easy to find online, and there is a section about it on the FMA Wiki on the page with the other OVAs from the original anime.

So yes it is an episode from the original anime series, but no it isn’t a part of the series itself.

Oh yeah!
That’s the weird OVA which goes constantly from first person pov to spectator pov .

This isn’t an episode of the 2003 anime at all (although it is related as Brotherhood didn’t exist at all in 2005) – it’s the Universal Studios Japan ride in its entirety, released as part of the OVA collection.
