I know I’ve said this before…

…but it just hit me again when looking at the photo ops from JIB and it’s just that time and again I am so in awe with how when you meet and see Jensen in RL you really don’t see or feel reminded of Dean Winchester AT ALL. Or at least that’s how I feel. Obviously Jensen and Dean share the same body (but the details differ so much, the way Jensen carries himself and how he carries himself as Dean, etc.), but that’s really all there is. Though even in this regard there’s a decided difference, because Jensen looks about 7 years younger than Dean and just softer (he after all didn’t have to truly live Dean’s life ;___;). In a weird way Dean, you know, would take up more “space” than Jensen does. I am marking this all down to Jensen’s incredible acting skills, because it’s all due so much subtle stuff that Jensen does to “become Dean”. I once queued with a friend for his photo op and she asked him if she could take the picture with him as Dean – and I kid you not after he said “sure” for that moment of the picture Jensen went away for a second and there stood Dean. The same person that I just described to look so different to Dean even though they share the same body. I just… I just think Jensen is an amazing actor and I kind of also think the magic of his Dean performance may fall together with how at this point Jensen may not “act” Dean at all anymore, but simply slips into him and becomes him for the time being therefore his acting feeling as powerful and natural as it does, because it is truly felt in that moment. Just my personal impression of course. So I’m shutting up now, but I just got a little emotional again looking at the JIB pics. :’)
