I really can’t fathom why writers still think this is a good idea. It sucked when it happened on BtVS; it sucked when it happened on SPN. I didn’t watch The 100, but I believe people who say it sucked there too. And now OITNB. If nothing else, the plot device is seriously old and tired at this point. Let it die and let your characters live.
