Sometimes I
still can’t believe that for Cas’ character, for seasons now, him finding a
home, him wanting to belong somewhere, him figuring out where he wants to be
after being stuck in the middle for so long, has been a never ending theme,
even though it’s very clear whom he wants to be with and what is keeping him on
planet earth.

And then on
the other hand there is Dean’s character, always struggling with people
leaving, because goddamnit everybody leaves him, always struggling with being
alone, afraid that it’s his own fault that everybody goes, yet there is this
one person that does always come back
to him no matter what, is always there for him, and would gladly spend all of
his days with Dean, if only Dean would just open his mouth and say the freaking
word.

Like hey if
you’ve been locked up in a room with no windows, and tHE ONLY THING IN THE ROOM
IS A TABLE WITH A GIANT ASS KEY ON IT, AREN’T YOU AT LEAST GOING TO TRY TO TAKE
THAT KEY AND PUT IT IN THE FREAKING LOCK TO SEE IF IT FITS??!! I’M just??!
