Tell them about america’s version of “chip and PIN” cards, aka you have the chip but there’s no PIN to enter. So you get all the benefit of standing there awkwardly waiting to remove your card instead of swipe->right back to wallet, without any of the added security (someone who has your physical stolen card can still use it just as easily). ‘MURICA!

fuck-customers:

About everywhere that I have to insert my chip on my debit card, I have to enter my pin still. It really ain’t that much of a hinderance to my life.

Also, the added security isn’t: “No one else but me can use my card now” but: “If someone hacks into the store’s system, all they get is a one-time use card number that was generated solely for that transaction.”
