Trump just banned EPA employees from posting on social media

• Trump has instituted a social media ban for employees at the Environmental Protection Agency, the AP reported on Tuesday.
• EPA employees are now banned from posting updates on social media or giving updates to the press.
• News broke on Monday
  that the EPA is under orders from the Trump administration to freeze
  its grant programs, which include funding for education, water testing
  and air quality monitoring.
• The Huffington Post reported on Monday that it’s unclear whether the freeze will be indefinite. Read more

National Parks are now Tweeting environmental science facts while they still can. 

This is FUCKED.

Just so everyone knows – the tweets have all been deleted from the Badlands National Parks twitter and it has gone silent, and the main National Parks twitter has been banned from using social media for public updates and such since posting comparison pictures of inauguration crowds.

NASA twitters are starting to step up and share climate science tweets. In general, the scientific community on Twitter is starting to rally together – I’ve even seen a Twitter starting to arrange a Science March on Washington. Trump is starting to really anger the scientific community of the US and other countries.
