I live in a fairly liberal part of the country and the background of the second gif didn’t even register to me as important/weird…

I live in a *really* liberal part of the country (outside Boston), but when we drive to Florida, the whole south looks like this to me. And ive driven through parts of the midwest that look like this too. It’s pretty weird.

…Heck, now that I think about it, there are even little pieces of MA that are like this. There’s a huge “repent, sinners” type sign in Chicopee that I drive past a lot, and Chicopee/Holyoke is like…. not an area that should be throwing godliness stones.
