I’d change: sales at gun shows allowed, but the person purchasing must pay for a background check to be done, or provide a paper copy of a recent one.

Private sales also don’t bother me within reason, maybe limited to family and friends. No advertising on craigslist, because then you’d legally be a gun dealer, with the associated requirements.

Mind you, if you used that to get a weapon to someone who shouldn’t have one, you’d both go to jail if they were caught in possession of it.
