it cannot be stressed enough that if capital had its way we would all be working all the hours god sends- and for scraps. the dictatorship of capital does not give a single fuck about our wellbeing and would gladly work us to death unless we, collectively, push the fuck back. our present manageable condition is not the result of market forces or the benevolent wishes of bleeding heart capitalists but because previous generations of workers took part in class struggles and won us our rights.
