Y’all should be nicer about this. He didn’t have anything to do with her losing the internship. She apologized pretty much immediately afterwards. It was actually a mob of her friends using the NASA hashtag that got her in trouble, but her sincere and heartfelt apology to this man inspired him to talk to NASA and his good word got her a better position than she would’ve had before.
Please think for even a second before participating in this sort of muckraking nonsense.
I have not seen bad reactions to this, but this post by Homer Hickam is the sweetest.
