Oh wait now I get what triggers are

Yeah, see, THIS is a trigger. Something that prompts a horrible flashback that makes someone go into a literal panic attack. It is NOT something that makes you slightly uncomfortable, so can we all just stop tossing that word around like it’s nothing.

thank you Wreck It Ralph

Reblogging for valuable commentary

Also, can we talk about how Felix dealt with it? He NEVER used that word again (only once in front of Ralph, never by her), there was never any talk about how she could get over it, and in their wedding they all made plans to help her with her paranoia by recognisingĀ her fears and showing she was safe by pointing guns at the window and having extra security.

A++++++ on dealing with mental issues magnificently, Wreck-It Ralph!

Will never not reblog this when I see it

also this was the greatest 5 second character development in cinematic history

@reddle

i love bat-cow so much i just

I had to convince my coworker, who works in a comic shop, that Bat-cow was a real thing that was actually published by DC, and not a parody.

@ghoullette

ā€œBatman Is Popular Because He’s The Realistic, Gritty Superheroā€

@ununnilium @creepingmonsterism Is this… this… this is real? Seriously?

This is entirely real, professionally created and published, in-canon and everything. šŸ˜€

DC has no excuse not to be funny in the movies.

@makethwoman We could really break your husband’s brain.

Dog owners please be aware.

REBLOG THIS PLEASE

This is Snopes-confirmed. Also be aware this is very common in sugar free food of many kinds. The retriever puppy who I know of who died of xylitol poisoning got hold of a pack of sugar-free gum.

Always good to remind folks – if it has xylitol, KEEP IT AWAY FROM DOGS! It induces profound hypoglycemia and liver failure and is life-threatening 😦

Quick Question: is “Bugs” really THAT bad?

Honestly I actually quite like it, it’s all about individual enjoyment! There are aspects that are ahem problematic, but hey, overall I like it ĀÆ_(惄)_/ĀÆ

I like that the solution was to respect the reason why the land was cursed, and leave it alone. Not to shrug off history and find a way to remove it.

I hate that ā€œwe have to survive the night!ā€ apparently meant ā€œwe have to survive the next 30 seconds!ā€ Seriously, there are ways to make scenes convey the passage of more time than is actually shown. This episode used none of them.

That’s honestly my biggest problem with it too šŸ˜›Ā
