I love how they picked Jensen Ackles, the Goodest Boy, to play the archetypal “bad boy” Dean Winchester

And because of that, Dean turned out to be a soft bean himself. :’)

👏👏👏

Dean Winchester is the softest bean to ever bean.

Will stick post-its on his brother’s back even though they’re the only 2 at home

A man not afraid to embrace his childish side

The grumpiest morning person ever

Loving and protective of his family

Gets all wussy over a pin-prick on his finger

Dean

Winchester

Is a soft boy. This has been a PSA.

Lisa has always been interesting to me because I do think that she wanted a father for Ben, but I don’t think that negates the fact that she did love Dean. You can seen it in the way she treated him. And frankly I suspect if Dean hadn’t been with Lisa that year Sam was gone, Dean would have gotten himself killed. And I think being with her and Ben did offer him some truly genuine happy moments that he deserved. It wasn’t a perfect relationship or anything but I’m glad he had that for awhile.

I’m also glad Dean had Lisa for a while, since I agree that she treated him with gentle care and that is something I will always want for Dean. Agreed that she wasn’t perfect, and neither was their relationship but I think she tried to be good to Dean, and that’s all I care about. I mean, it’s all worth it just for this scene here, to be honest.

Look at him, initiating cuddles. That’s what I want for Dean, a nice safe place to lay his head. I miss these scenes.
