Dean and Sam are on a hunt, but Dean takes five to call Cas. Sam’s just standing there, leafing through their notes. Then Dean goes, “Okay, baby, I’ll call you later.”

Sam lifts a brow, but Dean doesn’t notice because suddenly he’s saying, “No, no, I didn’t mean it like that. You’re not a baby. Come on, Cas. You know I love you, jesus.”

And Sam can’t stop laughing because Dean turns red and says, “I didn’t mean – I didn’t mean Jesus!”

All I’ve ever wanted in life, was a full gifset of this conversation.

Like, let’s take a minute to look at Dean here.  He throws his biggest insecurity out:  ”I prayed to you, Cas! Every night!”  Unfortunately we are missing the shot of Dean’s face after Cas says “I know.”  So I included it below:

He swallows some kind of emotion back visibly, and immediately withdraws into himself.  And he’s angry now.  Because he is hurt.  So he lashes out.  ”What the hell is wrong with you?”  And then Cas starts to explain, and Dean keeps this hardened face, protecting himself… Until Cas says “…to keep them away from you.”  Until Cas says I love you too.  That’s why I ran.  And the realization on Dean’s face in the last gif is so freaking powerful.  It is exactly what Cas wanted to avoid.  Cas kept holding back this entire scene.  I can’t hug Dean because then I won’t be able to let him go.  I can’t tell Dean I love him because he won’t let me stay.  I can’t tell Dean why I ran because he’ll know what it means.  That is why we have this pause where Cas stutters and says “to… to keep them away from you.”  Because he couldn’t let Dean know his feelings, but he couldn’t hurt Dean more.

And he was right.  Because you can see it in Dean’s face in the last gif. You can practically hear Dean’s thoughts screaming “I’ll never let him go again.”

Purgatory and End!verse both just fucking kill me dead.

Perfect post is perfect.

Goodbye friends, I’m packing my bags and flying myself into the sun

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK

THE FUCKING FORESHADOWING MAN YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND I’M REWATCHING THE SERIES AND I SEE FORESHADOWING EVERYWHERE AND IT MAKES MY INSIDES HURT

I don’t know if the writers really meant this, but it would make SO MUCH SENSE for Dean to fall in love with an angel. Mary’s “angels are watching over you” has stuck with Dean for a very long time and when a literal angel of the Lord certainly saved him, he realized that Mary was right. Dean has never had faith in God, but he learned to have faith in Cas no matter what, because Cas is HIS angel. THIS is an epic love story whether it was/is the writers’ intention or not.

Well…it may have been intentional on Kripke’s part since Anna, an angel, was meant to be Dean’s romantic endgame.  Along comes Misha and an explosion of Cockles chemistry later, Anna gets booted and Cas takes over Anna’s story line less the romantic angle.  Didn’t really work out that way though, did it?  :3

I think it didn’t lol. It turned out even more romantic because Anna never really saved Dean, it was Cas who did it. It would have worked out better if she had been the angel that pulled Dean out of hell (maybe?), but to be honest, the chemistry between Jensen and Julie was not the ideal. In regards to Misha and Jensen’s chemistry, there’s no question that no matter how much others try to make the relationship totally platonic, with those two it’s just impossible. Cockles is and will always be to blame for that ^^

Lynn: You’re the only one who’s been comfortable getting onstage and talking about Destiel. It seemed to mean a lot to many fans, just that you were willing to talk about it.

Misha: Is that true? Really, other people don’t talk about it?

Kathy: They don’t. And when you…
