I have a habit of leaving our patio doors unlocked during the weekdays because @makethwoman comes over after work. It’s a gated patio with a high fence and I have a Very Protective Boxer/Pitt mix who will run at the door and bark if someone comes near. So I don’t worry.
I go out into the kitchen to get a drink. The door is WIDE open. Clearly when I went out, I didn’t latch it properly.
And there’s Mew, laying on the patio in the sun, just chilling. I told her to get inside and she came in.
@fandomjunkie2004 I don’t think we really need to worry about her getting out ever. She just goes HOT ROCK AND SUN and stays there. But oops.
That, or she managed to figure out that pressing down on the handle opens the door. XD At least she didn’t take off. Climbing the fence just might be beyond her.
Cinder got her collar put on her earlier, after getting to go without for idek how long. This is the look she’s been giving us all ever since.
It’s sleepy pet central rn. Miss Mew on my lap, Dozer at my feet, and Cinder drooping down from above.

One of Ms. Mew’s whiskers has a split end. She is so special already. She has some hip form issues and can’t balance worth a damn. The people who we got her from pretty much fed her dog food from kittenhood until we got her. We had to teach her to go for the cat food and not the dog food when we got her.
I saw that little split end and just cuddled her some while she was staring at me like “What in the hell did I do to get sympathy cuddles now?”
She’s too adorable.
