Again, don’t usually share pics, but I am so pleased with 99.9% of my SeaCon pics that I decided to share a few of them.
This one is my fave, mostly because the experience was A+. (Which is better, Jensen’s cute little fists, or Misha completely disregarding my face…)
Beforehand we had decided not tell Jensen what was going on, thus getting the full affect of an “attack hug”. Jared and Misha were eager to participate and Jensen stood off to the side looking at all of us for direction. I motioned for him to come stand in the middle and even though he had no clue what was going on he was such a good sport and did what I asked.
Then we all attack hugged him and… this was the result.
(When Misha saw the photo he said, “This is a hot mess.” Which, indeed it was.)

So, I watched a video from the front row, and I finally understand why Misha said that (in the last gif). There were two or three people around the person taking the video (possibly the person actually filming, but I don’t know that for sure) who were sitting there while Jenn said this, who were loudly saying “Nope! No, no, I disagree!” and when someone around them challenged them on it, they quickly backtracked saying “Oh, I don’t hate him…” and then, when Jenn said “Screw the haters”, they were all “I’d be so uncomfortable if I was her…”
So, Misha wasn’t speaking to haters in the audience in general, he was basically calling out those girls in the very front row. Which makes @winjennster‘s moment even more powerful. Because we really DID drown out the haters with our cheers!
This was so much fun ok. Moofy (@cocklestrash) and I walk up to him, our smiles sickeningly sweet, and I ask him “Would you mind wearing this snuggle for us, and smiling real big?” The music was playing pretty loud in the op room so I put a hand on his shoulder and leaned up to talk to him, which was cool wahoo~~
Jensen sees Moofy holding this mound of fluffy fabric, and asks “okay what is it….?” and Moofy hands it to him and he unfolds it himself to look at it. I was watching him unfold the blanket, but Bexy (@hufflepuffdean) and Mara (@sunbeamdean) were right behind us and tell me they were watching his face and he lit up and looked freakin’ adorable. I mean duh look at it. Moofy explains for emphasis that it is indeed a Castiel snuggie. I chime in, “Listen, we can tell you’re totally a snuggie person, so this is our treat to you.” He puts it on immediately, still smiling, and Moofy and I take our positions. Right before Chris takes the picture, though, I see Jensen shift from his smile to his usual I’m-too-cool-and-grumpy-to-have-fun-on-camera face.
Honestly this would’ve been fine, he does it all the time because he thinks it’s funny and I do too, but my gut feeling was “HEY we actually made him laugh and smile a lot and that was great so I wouldn’t be as happy with a grumpy picture, I want to remember this silly thing gave him a chuckle or two”. So I lean up and sass him a bit, saying “You’re not smiling” with a kind of stern/mock-horror twist to my voice. He immediately smiles again and shakes a little from chuckling. Whatever face I was making before, now I’m just trying so hard not to cackle at that. We take the picture, he peels the snuggie off, and hands it back to Moofy. I was going to walk away, but I wanted to make sure that that was indeed okay, so I look back and give him a thankful/apologetic thumbs up, but he’s all smiles and gives me a thumbs up right back and nods and says “thank you darlin’, you did great”.
Moofy and I leave the room and join up with Mara and Bexy after their op is done, and they tell us about how smiley he was at the blanket. Love this man.

Yes, here we go again.
Since I’m too aggravated to get into the specifics, here are the key details of what’s going on, as of 3/19/16
A fan (or multiple) has openly and repeatedly threatened physical harm to MIsha Collins with actual intent. (Threatening to spit in his face, punch him, cause harm to him,) These same people(s) have also threatened harm to “Destielhellers“ and “MIsha Minions” The venue coordinators of Creation Entertainment have received many warnings from concerned fans about Misha’s well-being at the current con he is attending. (Seacon) The “fan”(s) are also attending this con as well.
Currently, precautionary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of MIsha. Added security, all things that are handed to Misha for ops or autos are being checked first.
Misha Collins is AWARE of the hate, he has seen it, and he knows what is going on. Fans who are currently at Seacon are saying that he is extremely put off, nervous and anxious. He knows about the threats made to him and his fans and he is worried. MIsha is completely aware of what’s happening. He is feeling really down and out about this and really needs love and support right now. I was hoping we as a FAMILY can help fix this. Let him know we are here and we are louder than the haters and we are strong.
Let’s let MIsha know he is not alone.
