Especially because he’s not drunk, there’s not like a girl stalking him, he doesn’t have bruises or cuts. So what kind of “mistake” does that leave us with that he’s only mildly concerned about?
Dean’s already such a bottom, though. So that can’t be his “mistake”. The mistake must have been going ahead with it even though he ran out of lube, ahahaha! (Seriously kiddies, lube is your friend. Slather that stuff on. Then pour on a little more, for good measure.)
‘it was most likely a girl’ ok mr heteronormative lemme stop u right there. in fact, in the scene, we see a guy go into the roadhouse after dean, but there’s no girl in sight. the guy walks in, but he doesn’t come out again. neither do any other patrons, girl, guy or other. now why would they show a guy walking into the bar after dean unless they wanted us to notice? they didn’t have to have anyone walking there, and they could have easily made it a girl, and i’m certain that people would have been like ‘oh! that’s who dean hooked up with’ if it had been.
then when dean gets back to the car, he says ‘mistakes were made’. if it had been a girl, why would he have said that? hooking up with women isn’t a mistake to dean. even sam said that ‘he needed that’ in reference to his own hook up, highlighting the difference between both hook ups. he also groans as he sits down, but u can come to ur own conclusions about that. and lbr, does this really look like the face of a guy who just had hetero sex with a woman?

cas. cas talks so much. he said dean’s name 13 times in one scene. dean was like ‘brb’ and cas didnt even hear he just kept. yappin. cas is just a chatty cathy. he wants to talk to dean so. bad. oh cas.
I LOVED THIS and I loved the way it fitted into their characters so well because Dean, well, Dean mutters and chatters his way through situations when he’s nervous, he’s an awkward talker….
Cas, on the other hand, is all silence and wide eyes when he’s nervous…
but put him on the phone with someone who makes him feel secure and comfortable, and he’ll talk for days.
