I may have to begin upkeeping daily updates.
Two days ago, we received spoilers on season 14 via pre-screenings, with promises of multiple punches in the face to antis in mere minutes.
Yesterday, we received the gift of Jensen merrily filming Misha Pieing Trump* in the face.
Today, 10/4/2018, Mitch Kosterman, brother of Clif, J2’s bodyguard, formerly in close association with the Kelloggs Club, retweeted this.
I am unsure the state the fandom will be in. There is one week left in hiatus and this shows no sign of slowing.
Honorable mention: J2 Hats are still arguing and angry about Jensen’s last interview and Jared’s lack of appearance. This storm may take the full week to subside.

People are staring at me while I am writing in my diary and aggressively eating popcorn, enraptured. Also, it has been brought to my attention that I failed to incorporate major updates of 2k18, such as The Ineffable Post. Perhaps, of course, because it is Ineffable. Apparently I deleted the memory base due to the level of personal exposure for the subjects related to the event, but it has been restored from my mental recycling bin. This, partnered with Mitch’s retweet, is threatening to make *me* think in Cockles wavelengths.
Help is needed, situations are dire. Packaged heteronormativity is urgently requested.

First off, I didn’t ask for anonymous replies. It was a rhetorical question.
I’m putting the rest of this under a cut, because at this point this is just… a non-issue. The insistence that Daphne is a minor in this episode of Supernatural is willfully ignoring the writers, the final presentation of the episode, and the repeated acknowledgement by the actors that Daphne was being portrayed as an adult. Not even mentioning the fact that she’s a cartoon, and not a real person to begin with. But I take serious issue with this ask, and I needed to get this out of my system. This is open to anybody who has a theory because I’ve seen it a bunch of times but I don’t really get it.
I guess the biggest argument is that they didn’t find their way back alone? Which dis easily refuted because they’ve been catapulted into the Bad Place so hard that they lost consciousness… it makes sense that they didn’t turn up right next to the nifty little portal and had to find their way back… plus they got overwhelmed by Dark Kaia but we don’t know her powers yet so arguing against this also doesn’t really make sense?
The issue is /some/ people think anyone else being half decent at hunting diminishes the accomplishments of their precious Sam and Dean. So basically noone can do anything well or it’s an INSULT! I mean it’s not like the original badass hunter was John, who we saw learned it all after Mary died and all the others like Bobby, Rufus etc, that the boys were kinda crappy on their first few hunts and would have been totally lost without the journal, hence the idea in the show that a good moral ethic, learning and growth is the key part to hunting and they’ve just had a ton of experience now on top of having the journal and now a whole secret library of lore to help. Claire’s been learning to hunt for a few years, they even established she’s been hunting alone last year to prove this point.
It’s not like they’re writing Claire as single handedly stopping the pre ordained apocalypse either to diminish Sam and Dean’s accomplishments, they just wrote her as using her experience and a gun to take out a couple of werewolves and yeah, still getting beat up in the mean time, just as Sam and Dean have many times.
But oh no it’s still an insult. PUH lease.
The bottom line is that they are grasping at straws trying to find a reason to rationalize hating on WS because they were counting on Claire to “take out the thing that killed her father,” and they’ve had a hate on for her since Kathryn posted that “My Two Dads” Tweet.
